Researching the Adirondack Mountains
For my high school English class, I have to write a ten page paper on a geographical area, park, or place of history. I was having a hard time finding any place that I was interested enough in to write 10 pages about until I came across the Adirondack Mountains. They’re contained in a 6.1 million acre park, and the villages within are full of great history for me to write about. Millionaires Row, the Saranac Lake Winter Carnival, and two previous Winter Olympics are some of the many very cool things found in this area. Aside from that, there is a ton of wildlife and activities like hiking, biking, skiing, golfing are more that attracts so many visitors. I don’t think writing a paper for English class has ever been more interesting!
