I got sick from paintballing
I have got to be the only person that has ever got sick from going paintballing! One of my friends turned 21 recently and a whole group of us decided to go on a paintballing day out. This was held in a huge forest area and was brilliant fun. There was me taking it all a bit seriously with the camouflage gear on rolling round the forest to avoid getting covered in an ambush of paintballs just like Arnie in the Predator movie, minus the paintballs of course. For my troubles I got bitten by some creature that gave me the most unsightly rash all over my back and legs. This was still there a week later so I went to show my doctor who said that this was the main signs and symptoms of lyme disease and it was lucky I had come to see him because if untreated it can be quite a threatening illness. As much as I loved the day out I won’t be doing that again in a hurry!
