Keeping Music In Our Lives

Thursday, January 28th, 2010

My husband used to play the guitar when he was a child and I can tell that he misses it very much.  I decided to buy him a new electric guitar as a surprise and he was very touched.  I even found a place that offers free online electric guitar lessons for him and he is so excited to get started.  We both feel that music is an important outlet and that this will be really good for him.  I am excited to hear his first performance.  I am so glad that this has made him happy and I know that he will enjoy this gift for many years.

The Acoustic Guitar Lesson at Toastmasters

Thursday, January 28th, 2010

I went to my local toastmasters meeting the other night, and the new guy gave a really interesting speech. It was a “how to” speech, and was a really good acoustic guitar lesson. He covered the basics, how to hold the guitar, how to tune the guitar, and how to properly care for and store the guitar. Had I known he was going to be instructing us about the guitar, I would have brought mine. Nevertheless, it was a fantastic presentation, that had most people incredibly envious of both is presentation skills, and his musical skills. I’d like to be like him someday.

Aah, there’s the light bulb of enlightenment. You may be asking yourself ‘how is this possible’? Since everyone is going green and green is sometimes a costly color, ecommerce fulfillment companies are providing more ways to help other companies go green.

My Aunt Meg Is Considering nutrisystem vs medifast

Saturday, January 9th, 2010

My Aunt Meg has done just about every single diet on the planet, and I think that she has had some decent success with quite a few of them, but it never worked long term until now.  The problem was that she was doing a lot of these crazy fad diets that were not really designed by medical professionals.  When she started considering using nutrisystem vs medifast, we knew that she was on the right track at long last.  Both of these are the type of sound eating plans that will help her to drop those extra pounds and not gain them back later.

A big event for Wedding Photographers

Monday, December 28th, 2009

Finding the right wedding photographer won’t be an easy or quick task.  You should ask yourself, does this person have the experience to handle a big event?  What is the photographer’s background and does his or her portfolio represent important moments, under pressure?  After all, anyone can take a photograph, but can they handle the pressure of a wedding day schedule, family members and friends?  What about the hectic time frame you are under?  Will the photographer stay cool and take control?  These are some good questions to ask when pondering your wedding day.

I Helped My Husband Get Some Time Off from Work

Friday, December 18th, 2009

I noticed that my husband was feeling down about his boss. All his boss wanted him to do was work; I could understand how that could be troublesome. I decided to ignore my husband’s complaining because I did not feel I could help him. Then I went to the comedian quotes web site and found a great quote. I printed it out and placed it in his briefcase. He called me at lunch and he said he was on his way home. He said he could not stop laughing and the boss decided he had flipped and needed to take the afternoon off. I was glad I could help my husband out today.
